Slav is a physiotherapist devoted to his work. He began his training in the field of fitness and exercise as her pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Health Science. After completing a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta, Slav continued with post-graduate training and education in the field of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy, including Dry Needling/Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS). He believes strongly in the integration of dry needling in rehabilitation of orthopaedic and neuromuscular conditions, and the effective combination with exercise, manual therapy, and pain science principles.

In 2016, Slav completed a Master’s of Clinical Science in Manipulative Therapy from The University of Western Ontario, and holds an advanced orthopaedic and manual therapy standing (FCAMPT).

Slav has a passion for teaching and believes strongly in ongoing education, and enjoys engaging with like-minded practitioners seeking to better themselves. He has served in several teaching and education roles including as a clinical instructor of physiotherapy and medical students at University of Toronto. In 2022 Slav completed an Advanced Clinician Practitioner in Arthritis Care certificate (ACPAC) program at University of Toronto. Slav works at a regional hospital in surgical services as an advanced practice physiotherapist and in a community rehabilitation clinic helping patients with orthopaedic disorders return to high levels of function.
