Level I introduces the foundational principles of dry needling, including:
Safety, contraindications, and risk mitigation
Needling fundamentals and handling
Clinical reasoning for tissue selection and treatment
Core muscle groups used in everyday clinical practice
Local anatomy review and safe depth strategies
Introduction to e-stim, and integration of electrical stimulation with dry needling

Level II builds on the foundational skills from Level I and expands into:
Complex and deeper anatomical regions
Sub-occipitals, TMJ, thoracic spine
Deeper anterior/posterior hip
Hands and feet
Integration of electrical stimulation
Enhanced palpation and technique refinement

Yes. Completion of Level I is required before registering for Level II. This ensures participants have established safe handling, anatomical proficiency, and consistent foundational technique.

Absolutely. Both Level I and Level II are majority hands-on training courses. Participants needle and are needled under instructor supervision to ensure comfort, safety, and skill development.

Each course runs over a weekend and includes a mix of lecture, demonstration, and extensive practical lab time. Full attendance is required for certification.

Yes. Participants who demonstrate competency in both theoretical and practical components will receive a certificate of completion for their level.

Yes. We partner with clinics and organizations to provide on-site training for their teams. Hosting a course allows a group to learn together and reduces travel costs for staff.

We intentionally keep class sizes small to ensure a high instructor-to-learner ratio and maximize hands-on guidance and feedback.

Comfortable, loose clothing – shorts and tank tops/ sports bras for the labs. Participants needle and are needled, so appropriate attire is recommended.

Yes. Lunch is provided for all participants on both days of the course. Dietary accommodations can be arranged—please let us know in advance if you have any specific needs.

Yes. Electrical stimulation is introduced in Level I and used throughout the weekend. E-Stim use carries through on level 2 with extensive coverage of further application. We emphasize evidence-based utilization, clinical application, safety considerations, and appropriate clinical integration.
