Leah Dlot MScPT
Assistant Instructor
Leah graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2006 and completed her Master of Clinical Science in Manipulative Physical Therapy at Western University in 2016, earning her FCAMPT designation.
Since discovering dry needling in 2016, Leah has loved incorporating it into her practice alongside manual therapy, movement, and exercise. She enjoys helping patients move with greater confidence and get back to doing the things they love.
As the co-owner of a private physiotherapy clinic in Winnipeg, Leah is passionate about lifelong learning and believes some of the best learning happens when clinicians share ideas and experiences. She has assisted with the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) Physiotherapy Program through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and especially enjoys mentoring clinicians as they build confidence, strengthen their clinical reasoning, and grow their hands-on skills.
Outside of the clinic, Leah loves spending time with her husband and two kids, staying active, and cheering on the gymnastics community that first inspired her to become a physiotherapist.
